Heim+Viladrich is a design studio founded in 2022 by Lauriane Heim and Johan Viladrich. Their approach is deeply rooted in context analysis, relying on meticulous research both in the use of local materials and in the mastery and sublimation of employed techniques. Through their various projects, the designers have developed a coherent visual language. Their rigorous attention is focused on both the overall cohesion of a project and the details that compose it.
The duo maintains a close relationship with the production process. They thus strive towards an economy of gesture, harmonizing material and process, resulting in pieces that are both understated and sophisticated. Their practice is interdisciplinary and materializes in the design of spaces, publications, and design objects. By oscillating between commercial projects and self-initiated ones, the transition and blending of different domains offer the designers the ability to identify and reinterpret the unique potentials of each project.

Heim+Viladrich est un studio de design fondé en 2022 par Lauriane Heim et Johan Viladrich. Leur approche est profondément ancrée dans l’analyse des contextes, reposant sur une recherche minutieuse aussi bien dans l’utilisation de matériaux locaux que dans la maîtrise et la sublimation des techniques employées. À travers leurs différents projets, les designers ont élaboré un langage visuel cohérent. Leur attention rigoureuse se porte tant sur la cohésion générale d’un projet que sur les détails qui le composent.
Le duo entretient une relation étroite avec le processus de production. Ils tendent ainsi vers une économie du geste, harmonisant matière et processus, résultant en des pièces à la fois sobres et sophistiquées. Leur pratique est transversale et se concrétise dans la conception d’espaces, de publications et d’objets de design. En oscillant entre projets commerciaux et auto-initiées, la transition et le mélange des différents domaines offrent aux designers la capacité d’identifier et de réinterpréter les potentiels singuliers de chaque projet.
