Heim+Viladrich
TRABALH - which translates as «work» in Occitan - is a research project at the intersection of industry, design, theory, and visual arts. Its aim is to shed light on the relationship between industrial know-how and contemporary artistic production in the Occitanie region.
Often overlooked or undervalued for their utilitarian aspect, it is the technical and industrial processes that enable the creation of many current artistic productions. By choosing metal as its focal point, TRABALH will take the form of a publication and aim to establish the close links between a material, its production process, and the various actors - from technicians to artists - involved in the creation of an artwork.
